  • Create a Google Docs document for your essay
  • Post the link on my Wikispaces page.

  3. Click external link
  4. Paste your url into the link address section
  5. Write your name and your paper's topic in the page name section
  • Write 3 body paragraphs for your essay using your outline

  • Read Chapters 12-14 of Keoko
  • Complete Keoko Activity Sheet
  • Your should have completed your second Independent Reading book by Friday.  Make sure to complete your Book Bingo Form in your Reader's Notebook and your bingo chart

  •  Complete outlines in your notebooks.  Outline example
  •  Fill notecard pages with facts and sources

1.  Complete the research writing notecard worksheet page 1(front and back).  Write facts about your topic and cite the sources on the notecard sheet. 

2.  Complete 2 Reading Responses in your notebookswith:
  • 1 Bookmark Response
  • 1 Literature Circle Role Response
  • Vocabulary
  • Don't forget to include the title, author and date at the top of your responses 
  • You should finish your first book by 4/27/12

  • Blog Entry- State your thesis and 3 subtopics.  . 
  • Complete 10 notes on your 3 from a library print source and 3 from Webpath.

    Monday 10/24-  Continue to work on projects.  Posters should be complete by Wednesday.   The second part of your projects should be about halfway done.  
    Thursday 10/13- Final Personal Narratives due at the end of class.  Email me your personal narrative drafts if you wish for more feedback and advice.

    Tuesday 10/11- A)  Re-write one personal narrative using Microsoft Word and make improvements where needed.   Email me your final copy and bring the file to class or store it in your email account.  B) Complete Independent Reading ( 2 entries) Each entry should have:  1 summary, 3 Vocabulary entries, 3 questions. C)  Work on Jaime Escalante projects.
