Today you and your classmates viewed each others personal narratives.  Your classmates gave you a lot of advice today(hopefully).  What advice do you think is the most helpful to you?  Why? What did you learn by reading the other students' work? 

Blog Assignment #2 Writing Reflection

Look at your test drive(personal narrative writing from last week).  Tell me what you think you did well.  How can you improve the next time you write a personal narrative?  Was you personal narrative interesting?  Why or why not?  What grammar errors did you make and how will you correct them in the future?

Part 1:  Reflect on (think about)  your autobiography speech in class last week.  What did you do well?  What do you need to improve on?  What feedback or advice do you have for your classmates?


Part 2:  Reflect on the Summer Reading discussion today in class.  After listening to your partner's speeches in groups, what books, genres or authors interest you?  Why?


Part 3:  Choose one of your summer reading books.  Who would enjoy it?  What kind of person would like to read your book?  Why?  Who wouldn't enjoy it? Why? Give examples.  Challenge:  Find an image of your book's cover and place it on your blog.
